Colin and I want to again take this opportunity to thank you once again for helping us make our tenth anniversary celebration so very special. From the moment we first spoke on the phone all the way to Colin thanking you after the band's performance, you were a true professional. We appreciated the prep work before the event. You are very considerate in your planning to make the right impression with the music.

We really appreciate how you were flexible in working with our friend Lee. He so enjoyed performing with you and we can tell you from the audience perspective the combination was great entertainment.

As a meeting and event planner, I do not look for just a band to play for an event. I look at musicality, personality, audience interaction and versatility. Rembrandt has all of these qualities wrapped up together perfectly. We are still receiving praise from two weeks ago and honestly, we didn't even need it. The dance floor spoke for itself. I think it was full the entire evening!

I have been recommending entertainment for almost 25 years in the industry and I can tell you right now that I will sing your praises for many years to come. No pun intended.

Rembrandt was one of the highlights of our Daughter's wedding. We had heard them at another function a few years earlier and got their card thinking that they would be a great band to have at a wedding reception. Not only did they live up to our expectations they far exceeded them. They made planning the music very easy by providing us with a long list of song choices and then spending time discussing the sequencing of our choices as well as making great recommendations that we hadn't considered. The reception flowed like a professionally produced event. The band and vocalists sounded incredible and one of the most common comments we received from our guests was how great the band was and where did we find them. In fact, one of our guests has already booked Rembrandt for their son's wedding. The dance floor was constantly packed, with young and old, and no one was ready for the party to end. We would absolutely recommend Rembrandt to anyone planning an event where you want an outstanding band.

We first had Rembrandt at our daughters wedding about 4 years ago and we were delighted with both the quality and range of their performance. Within a short time several of our friends happily found themselves hosting weddings, and immediately selected Doug Waitman and Rembrandt. Of course when our second child got married recently we selected the wedding date around their availability. If anything, they were even better to work with. In addition to the quality of the performance, they were extremely pleasant to work with. After five encounters between us and all of our friends, we recommend them every chance we get. This is truly an excellent band that has found a way to make everyone feel welcome and excited to be there. They complied with all of our wishes, and made many excellent suggestions.

Thank you for making our daughter’s wedding night such a memorable event.

　

There is always a fine balance when hiring a band: you want people to enjoy listening to the music, but you also want guests to get out and dance. I believe it was because of Rembrandt that our guests danced so much, laughed so much, and connected so much. The trick to such a successful evening was that Rembrandt danced, laughed, and connected so well with our guests and each other. They were truly a priceless addition to the event.

　

We appreciated Rembrandt’s ability to work with such an extensive playlist. Their wide variety of musical talents allowed us to cater to all of our guests’ likes. We felt as though this was a band really performing for us and not themselves—they always made my daughter and future son-in-law the focus of their planning and performance.

　

When the evening began, Rembrandt did an excellent job of making the wedding party/guests the focus. Their spot-on renditions of old classics and new dance numbers were so accurate many people forgot they were a live band! They were able to re-create all of the special songs that mean so much to the wedding party and really allowed the bride and groom and their families take the spotlight.

　

As the evening progressed, so did Rembrandt’s talents. Their impeccable music performances continued, and in addition they did an amazing job of creating a concert-like atmosphere where band members and guests were able to dance and sing together. It was not uncommon to see the grandmother of the bride twirling with a singer! The more fun the band members were having, the more fun the guests were having. And the guests craved more even after five hours!

　

When the evening moved to cake-cutting and bouquet throwing, the band again let the wedding party shine by creating a musical background that enhanced the event. Even during the band’s quick breaks, the music continued and so did the dancing.

　

Guests of the wedding continually commented on the engaging and entertaining band that truly helped create one of the best events of our lives.

　

We highly recommend Rembrandt for any event/wedding. We would love to be invited to their next gig so we can dance the night away again!

When we first got engaged, we thought we really wanted a DJ but my father insisted that we also look at bands. When we came across Rembrandt we knew you were the band for us. You guys were amazing! We still got to have all of the songs we love to dance to and we had live music. You totally made our wedding! Everyone is still talking about how amazing the band was and it's been almost 3 weeks. My friend couldn't believe how you went from singing opera to a rap song to Lady Gaga and every single song sounded amazing. Another guest said they turned around to double check that it wasn't actually Michael Jackson singing. You kept the party going until the last song. You were a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend you to anyone.

We hired Rembrandt to play at our wedding reception this past February, 2011. I can't imagine having hired anyone else. The band was amazing! We received tons compliments and positive feedback specifically about the band. At 11:30 pm, when our reception had ended, the dance floor was still packed and our guests were demanding an encore. The band graciously obliged. That pretty much speaks for itself.

We also hired Doug to provide recorded music at our ceremony and cocktail hour. He delivered expertly on all ends.

Doug was extremely reliable and helpful throughout our planning process. He came to our home for our final meeting and he was instrumental in creating the timeline for our entire reception. I highly recommend Rembrandt.

I have used Rembrandt for different special events for 27 years! From
my wedding in 1983 to my second wedding three years ago at our ranch
in Kelowna, British Columbia Canada (yes, we flew all of the band
members to Canada because they are THAT good). And my wife recently
hired them (15 piece band) for my 50th birthday party in Malibu. Yes
we had under 30 guests, but the band was that worth it. And were they
overpowering? No, one thing about a great band is if they can play
during dinner hour and the guests can speak at a normal level.

And as a longtime musician, I am just a fan of every artist
individually and collectively as a group. Their energy is infectious
and for a dance floor, there is nothing so fun as to have Rembrandt
playing the most awesome, diverse set of music - anything from Glenn
Miller to the latest popular releases. And they learn requests, too.

We had five lead singers. That doesn't include the bandleader, Doug -
who himself is an amazing singer. This is not a corny "oompah"
wedding band. DJ's don't have the live presence and energy of festive
live music.

This band is a must for any event, large or small. I kid you not,
there is nothing you can do for your event more valuable than hiring
this band. I've probably referred them to over 100 friends and
clients, who have used them.

Please, please feel free to attribute any quotes you want to Jeff and me, and feel free to use our names as references. We had a great time at our party and Rembrandt made all the difference. I was thinking of "cheaping out" and hiring a DJ, and I was so glad that I hired Rembrandt.

We have had so many compliments on our wedding and the first thing guests asked is "Where did you find that band? They are amazing!" We had a large dance floor and it was filled all night! I have never had seen so many people dancing at an event. Even our older guests, who I did not know could dance, were out there having a blast. The band was so versatile that every generation enjoyed the music. Rembrandt even learned our first dance song at no additional charge. When the wedding was ending the band got an encore and they were so nice and played an additional song. During the planning process Doug always responded quickly to any questions and was very helpful in planning our day of timeline. It was the best money we spent on our wedding. From the first moment I spoke with Doug Waitman on the phone, he was terrific. My daughter's wedding (Grove/Smoker) November 12th, was in a few weeks and my son and I wanted to do a surprise for the newlyweds on their special day. I wanted to recognize the (Grandparents) along with singing a special song (Grampa) by The Judds and my son was to play the guitar. I explained to Doug that I had never sung before and that I was very scared. He stated that I should continue practicing and that if I was to faint, get emotional, or just plain change my mind on doing this, they (Rembrandt) would carry it on without a hitch. The music they played was enjoyed by all who attended and they still talk about the wedding, as one that will remain in their hearts forever. Having the "Rembrandt Band" as part of the wedding, made the entire event even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I must say that although my son and I are not professionals, having Doug and Rembrandt's backing us with our surprise, was one of the best choices we ever made. Thank you so much for performing at our August 28, 2010 Wedding. You can definitely tell how great a band is by how many people are on the dance floor and how soon they begin dancing. As you remember, the dance floor was FILLED before dinner was served! We had to ask people to sit down to eat (the bride and groom included!). As soon as dinner was "out of the way", no one left the dance floor the entire night. Your selection was right on for the crowd (half late 20 year olds and half 60+). Even the grandparents danced to Blake Eyed Peas! Your performers were kind, fun and put up with one heck of a crowd (including a bride who demanded a mic and the stage!). I have been to many weddings and will go to many more and I can guarantee that I will never find a band better than you.

Thank you for being a part of our event, our memories, and our fun. Even my 70-year-old dad who was concerned about getting a live band due to the cost said to me "You were right. This band was well worth it!". Thank you for being amazing!

It’s been a little over a week since Emily and Eric’s wedding and I’ve had a chance to catch my breath ... we’ve had 2 family birthdays, a trip to Las Vegas, and 4th of July all crammed into the last 7 days....

Of course you know (because how could you not?), the wedding was just spectacular, exceeding all our expectations, and a big part of that was the music provided by Rembrandt. I really want you to know, from my heart, how deeply I appreciate the fabulous job the band did all evening long. Without exception, EVERY guest that I spoke to was so excited about the band! From the moment I stepped into the ballroom, the band set the tone with lively music and continued to do so all night long. I think it’s rare to see nearly 100% of guests still on the dance floor at midnight begging for more, yet this is what we had. I wish I had had the time to speak to your band members personally, but of course I was busy dancing with and talking to my guests.

I have always felt that music is the single most important component of any party or celebration – certainly a wedding – and I was thrilled that Emily and Eric chose to have a live band. I am even more delighted that they chose Rembrandt; although the distance and travel fee were a consideration at first, I would do it again in a heartbeat, and I am also glad we decided to extend the playing time until the end of the party (instead of switching to a DJ for the last 90 minutes).

The band was so great at keying into the energy of our guests and kept that dance floor hopping all night. People don’t often remember what they had for dinner or how good the cake was, but they ALWAYS remember the great time they had on the dance floor. Thank you so much for making that happen.

In addition to the compliments of our guests, the personnel at the Del were saying how great our party was and how it had been a long time since they’d seen (if ever) a wedding so completely wonderful and fabulous, especially the music. Everyone was just saying WOW!!! :)

I am most happy to personally recommend you to anyone wanting feedback about your ability, talent, and service.

The music for Medleine and David’s Wedding was simply perfect. How did you ever acheive that delicate balance of music loud enough to create a great vibe for dancing but soft enough to be able to carry on a conversation? Wow I can't even put into words how incredibly, amazingly, wonderful you and your band are!! The way you played my ceremony was perfection! Immaculate!!!! The wedding music was insane!! People are raving about it! Every single person said you are by far the best wedding band they have ever ever heard!!!! You guys deserve an award or something! Because WOW!!! We didn't need a photo booth, a candy bar or anything silly like that! You guys were all we needed! I can't say enough! Thank you thank you thank you!! The talent in your band is beyond!!!! It was just the best night ever and it was mostly because of you! So please relay the message to everyone because they deserve to know how incredibly talented they are and how thrilled they made every single person that attended our wedding!! Wow!
